Juventus are open to moving on from Vlahovic
There was a report this past week that Juventus are looking to renegotiate the contract of striker Dusan Vlahovic and if they’re unable to do so that they would look to sell him during next summer’s transfer window.
Now the Daily Briefing is reporting that Premier League club Arsenal are “monitoring the situation” when it comes to Vlahovic and the Bianconeri. This isn’t the first time that Gunners’ manager Mikel Arteta has shown interest in the Serbian striker. He approached Vlahovic when he was at Fiorintina, prior to him making his move to Turin.
Vlahovic’s current contract with The Old Lady is set to run out in June of 2026. If he doesn’t finish the season strong, Juve should seriously look to sell him next summer. Right now his market value is 70 million euros, but I would be surprised if they’re able to sell him for that much money given how much he’s underachieved at Juventus.
Juve have also been linked with the possibility of adding Joshua Zirkzee on loan from Manchester United this winter with the fact that he’s been struggling in England and is familiar with manager Thiago Motta from their time together at Bologna.
The Bianconeri are also linked with strikers Jonathan David (Lille), Goncalo Ramos (PSG) as well as Victor Osimhen.
With Juventus needing to add at least one center-back this winter, it would make the most sense for them to add another striker via a loan agreement. And when it comes to Vlahovic, it might be time for them to move on from him, but they’ll need to first find a replacement.
