Gonçalo Ramos is an option for a back-up striker role at Juventus
Despite the fact that Juventus are in the hunt for another Scudetto this season, they have some glaring needs that they will need to address during the upcoming January transfer window. One of those needs is at the striker position because they need another option behind Dusan Vlahovic. Arkadiusz Milik just isn’t enough because he’s injured and The Old Lady could use an upgrade.
Sport Mediaset, via TuttoJuve is reporting that Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is targeting Paris Saint-Germain striker Gonçalo Ramos this winter. The only issue right now is that like Milik, Ramos is also injured right now and is expected to return later this month. He’s only played in one match this season and clocked a total 20 minutes but did help out PSG with an assist.
Ramos did score 11 goals in 29 Ligue 1 matches last season. His market value right now is 45 million euros. That price tag could be a little steep for Juve this winter. But he is only 23 years-old and could end up challenging Vlahovic for the starting striker role over the course of time.
