We have some Paul Pogba news
Good day everyone, here’s your Juventus news roundup for November 11, 2024.
Paul Pogba heading to France?
Now that Paul Pogba’s contract with Juventus has been terminated and he’s free to sign with any club in the world. There are reports out of France (via JuventusNews24) that are stating that Marseille are interested in adding the former World Cup winner to their squad.
The problem with Pogba isn’t his talent, it’s the fact that he’s had a hard time staying healthy since he re-joined Juve from Manchester United. Playing in France might be the best for him.
Lyon full-back wants to play for The Old Lady
It’s quite obvious that the Bianconeri need to sign at least one defender this winter with the injuries that they’re now dealing with at the backend of their team.
IlBianconero is reporting that Lyon full-back Nicolas Tagliafico has offered himself to Juventus. This is interesting since he primarily plays left-back, but he’s capable of playing center-back as well.
Lyon do need to unload players due to the fact they’re facing relegation from Ligue 1 if they’re unable to get their finances together.
Weah to play as a No. 9?
With Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik both injured, Juventus will need to figure out who will play striker against AC Milan this weekend and it looks like it could be Timothy Weah.
La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Giovanni Albanese says that Weah makes the most sense to play at the No.9 spot for Juve and he’s right because he played there during his time at Lille.
Juve to sign Ben Chillwell?
I’m not sure what’s going on with Juventus being linked to fullbacks, but here’s another.
IlBianconero is reporting that Juve Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli is interested in adding Chelsea fullback Ben Chillwell during the winter transfer window.
When you think about it, adding a fullback isn’t a bad idea with Danilo playing poorly and possibly on the way out.
Be sure to check back tomorrow for another news roundup.
