3. Giorgio Chiellini

Without a doubt defender Giorgio Chiellini has gone down as one of the best players in Juventus history and one of the most accomplished players at his position of his generation. He joined the Bianconeri in 2005 from Livorno, and spent 17 seasons with the Juve, becoming a symbol of grit, loyalty, and leadership. He was known for his defensive mastery, physicality, and tactical intelligence. Chiellini formed one of football’s most formidable backlines alongside teammates Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli.

During his Juventus career, Chiellini made over 550 appearances while scoring 36 goals. He played a crucial role in the club’s golden era, leading Juventus to an unprecedented nine consecutive Serie A titles from 2011 to 2020. He also won five Coppa Italia trophies and five Supercoppa Italiana titles. Even though he was never able to obtain a UEFA Champions League trophy, he helped Juventus reach the finals in both 2015 and 2017.

Chiellini was named as a Juventus captain in 2018, while embodying the club’s fighting spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence. Off the pitch, he earned respect for his professionalism and intelligence, earning a degree in Economics during his playing career.

After leaving Juventus in 2022, Chiellini’s legacy as a warrior on the field and a loyal servant to the club remains intact, securing his place as a modern Juventus legend.
