Would Napoli be willing to sell Osimhen to their rival?

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has been one of the top strikers in world football over the past few years, especially while playing for Napoli. He’s also continued to prove to the world this season that he’s still remarkable player scoring six goals and adding two assists during his first six matches this season in Turkey.

There are reports that Juventus would like to sign Osimhen with current striker Dusan Vlahovic continuing to underwhelm for the Bianconeri. But would Napoli really be willing to sell him to one of their biggest rivals?

One thing that could certainly help Juve is the fact that their sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli helped bring Osimhen to Napoli prior to coming to Turin. The fact that both men have a prior relationship could prove pivotal in helping The Old Lady land a premier striker.

According to Il Bianconero, the main issue in Juventus acquiring Osimhen from Napoli is the potential price tag because we know that the Blues will want to cash in on his success with a payment of around 75 million euros. You also have to facter in the hefty wage that he’ll want as well, which is expected to be around 10 million net euros per season.

It would be great if Juventus could sign Osimhen, but they’ll likely need to look for a cheaper option or hope that one of their academy players will emerge as a player that can come in and lead them up top as a number nine.

Comment below and tell us if you think Juventus has a chance at signing Osimhen.
